If you've ever been to the New England coast, you know her mystical charm.
And even though my allegiance will always be to New York City and her sports' teams (I'm a born and raised Jersey girl after all!), New England sure lured me in. I spent two years in her land during college and long weekend trips thereafter whenever the opportunity presented. I had had such fun memories of her coast, but I hadn't picked up a camera yet.
Then last year I knew I just had to capture that coastal charm that surrounded those memories by finally returning to New England's shoreline with my camera in hand. It may have been 40 degrees some mornings, but the trip was everything and more - because hey, you're in New England after all and there's no complaining it's cold out!

First things first, it definitely was love at first sunset and wipeout.😍 🌅 🌊
I'm the #SunsetChaser here at The Sunset Shop and @sambatothesea on IG. 📷 I totally understand how it feels to be caught up in every day life and not be able to be living life as much as you'd like, because I used to work in a cubicle on the 24th floor in the concrete jungle known as New York City.
But my life was forever changed when I made a New Year's Resolution to learn how to surf, which led me to trade my heels for a camera and surfboard in Costa Rica 10+ years ago.
And even though you may not be able to experience that SoCal dreaming feeling everyday, whether that be your location or life's responsibilities, you can bring that feeling home to you.
